Imagination, Day 23
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”
― Seneca
“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
― Benjamin Franklin
“The original garden,” I was told, “was planted with plants that just showed up looking for a place to stay for a while. They were planted with no purpose and soon became overgrown and impossible to maintain.”
That’s what she said.
She also told me that she would like to have the garden planted with carefully chosen plants that would give her a good and beautiful supply of cut flowers.
So we found new homes for the plants that were in the wrong places.
And now we are starting over…
With careful planning,
Careful preparation,
Irrigation,
And purpose.
One time I was not happy with my life.
There were too many weeds and worries.
I used many of the same tactics
And I was pleased with the results.
